Just a few quick pics of our night out on the town. Ben had to go down to the city this afternoon to check out some hotels for a work conference. We decided to get a sitter and make a night of it. The main hotel was in Chinatown, so we walked the streets and took in the sites of "home" {one of them, well two actually}. It was so fun seeing all of the Peking ducks hanging in the windows and the red lanterns and lights everywhere. All of the herbal medicines and dried sea animal fillets...
Then we strolled over to Circular Quay and perused the pier for the perfect restaurant. Here we are goofing off and having a great time. We got our waiter to take a pic, but the quality is so poor that it looks like I photoshopped us in. We only had Ben's phone so we were embarrassed to ask some one other than our waiter to take a pic so we had to take the rest ourselves. Unfortunately Ben's high quality phone can not capture the beauty nor the ambiance of our surroundings! Big cities are the best, it was so fun. It only takes about 25-30 minutes to get to the city, would it be weird to get a hotel and stay for a week?!
Don't forget to notice the jackets and scarf. It truly is Autumn here, Boooooo! Enjoy your spring you lucky SOB's.

Looks so fun! It was 91 here on Sun...65 today for our high. I am glad it cooled down though, not ready for the swealtering heat that is sure to come! The city is beautiful even with a phone camera and the two of you look great!!
The city is beautiful! That is fun that you have a chinatown to make you feel at home!
Oh man, it looks like you guys had so much fun! I can't wait to come out and visit, it looks so beautiful!
You lucky SOB's... I'm pretty sure I laughed out loud in my office during that part. Funny. Just remember that we did just suffer through winter... and we are still getting snow. Look on the bright side.
I swear everytime I read your blog I think to myself that you live a glamorous life (well, except for the swing incident at the park =). The traveling, the dates...and you're gorgeous....so much fun!
How fun! I love the first picture...you can tell it is an awesome view! I am not sure of a restaurant around here with that same view!
Looks Dreamy! You two are so cute! The photos were still great!
Looks lovely, I like the contemplating picture of Ben.
By the way, you are the funniest person I've ever met. You crack me up, and I love your honesty. Remember when we met back at Utah State? I think you were there for overnight SOAR or something. You were all sweet and innocent and scared to death. Now look what Ben has done to you.
I'm glad you were able to revist an old haunting memory, I hope your MIL reads my blog so she can see how you really feel. I laughed out loud until Steve came in wondering why.
Thanks!
Shwanky! Looks like so much fun. I really don't feel bad for you at all about the season though, you're still in Australia (thank your lucky stars) and not Michigan (aka the other Antartica).
That looks so great! That is crazy that the seasons are different. I think it is so awesome you guys get to have so many cool experiences!!
