Our little doggy

Ben will be relieved to know that he won't need to make good on the promise of getting a pet when we finally "settle" somewhere. He has been promising me a dog for years, but I guess we already have one, and his name is Gabe. This little puppydog crawls around at my feet all day, following me around like a little shadow. He has also started to ALWAYS have something he is dragging around in his mouth, it is such a crack-up.

All of the being on all-fours combined with the various "bones" he finds and carries around in his mouth (usually a hackey-sack ball, but he does find all sorts of things) really make me feel like I've got a Son and a Pet all in one. Come to think of it, he even buries his toys...

Doggie eating lip gloss

Doggie in the tub

Crying doggie

Doggie eating lunch

Doggie playing with toys

Splashin' doggie

Doggie playing a board game... ya, that's a huge dice from a boardgame being played

Lol. I'm glad you can look at the bright side of things hanging out of his mouth all the time :)

My Sophie is the same way! She puts everything in her mouth! And she loves to eat dirt. I don't understand these kids at all, but atleast it makes for cute photo moments, right? You're kids are beautiful!

ok that is hillarious! I love the photos! Marco might like to have him around here too. He is just biding his time until we can get a dog too. I am not going that route until my house is a little less new and I am no longer changing diapers/potty training.

He is an awefully cute little doggy. That is so funny. I am sure when he is older he will appreciate that you have documented this funny little habbit ;)

Hmmmm...does he do any tricks? I am glad that you got a two for one deal. I was much rather have Gabe that something with fleas. :) When Rob was really wanting a dog...I told him we could have a dog or a child. We now have Bobby. :)

Nat-
My neighbor just actually let me borrow it today. I started talking about it today at a lunch thing and she gave it to me. :) BUT...we DO need to get together! I am totally open next week! I would love to come visit you...and (not like I should push myself on you..) but you can cook for me!! :) Of course I can bring something for dessert...unless you make me those carmel oaty bars. Anyways...I am leaving to Vegas until Sunday night...I will check my e-mail when I get back. :)

I love your blog! I checked out your cooking and house ones too, you do a great job! I wish we could buy your house, but I don't think we'll be living in Utah any time soon- darn. Just wanted to pass on some info- you can make blog books at www.blurb.com I can't wait to start making mine for 2008. I'll probably make another Kodak one for 2007 since it's already the middle of October now =).

Natalie! I have missed your blog! We have had company ever since baby, so I haven't had much time to keep up. So FUNNY--all the pictures you have with STUFF in his mouth! Cute little Gabe!

Hilarious! Why is it that kids are always putting things in their mouth. Michael went through a stage where he was always drinking the rain gutter water...silly kiddos! So, BTW when are you guys going to announce where you're moving to? I was surprised Charlotte wasn't on your poll :)...I thought for sure I had convinced you that NC was the greatest place to live. Seriously though, where are you moving?
