Would anyone like to buy a house?

Okay, although this is the 3rd home we have purchased, the last home we sold had tenants in when we sold it, so it was their job to keep it in pristine order. We still own the 2nd house, so this is really the first home we have had to do ALL of the work to sell. Trying to keep it clean, trying to get people here and see it, doing fliers and the whole bit. It is not just that you have to keep it clean, you have to keep every inch of it immaculately clean, including your closets, drawers, pantry, and refrigerator. I'm so over it already and it has only been a week and a half!

We had an open house this weekend, I had bottled water, homemade chocolate zucchini bread, banana bread, chocolate chip cookies (it was actually all dough so I could have it ready to bake up fresh). We had candles burning in every room, fresh flowers, balloons, even the car parked outside since it comes free with the house. Yes, you heard that right, FREE 2001 Mercedes-Benz ML320 with the purchase of your new home!

The table was set with brand new silverware and goblets so as not to have any water marks from the dishwasher on them. Ben and I had stayed up until 4 in the morning cleaning, organizing, finishing every last ever-lovin detail on the basement. We were here from 9-4 Saturday and NOT ONE person showed! Can you believe it, it was pathetic. I know that the home is priced right, the place across the street is only 350 square feet bigger and listed for almost 70K more, and no free car! Here are some pics of our beautiful home, please come and buy it!

Selling a home is so stressful. It was hard with 2 big kids keeping stuff clean I cant imagine what it is like with 2 little ones! Sorry no one came to your open house...you worked so hard it looks great!

your house really is beautiful, Rylee is soo jealous. And a free car? It can't get any better than that. It will work out for you though. We are praying to get out of our own house, so we will throw you in on the list too! Good luck Nat

Your house is beautiful. Out of curiosity 1) what city? 2) square footage? 3) price?

It's such a hard time to sell so I hope it happens fast for you!

I should have added that Andrea, but never found quite the right spot, as I didn't want to come across like I actually was trying to sell my home to my friends. I do have another blog, www.homeinherriman.blogspot.com for that! The price is $379,900, and of course as mentioned, that does include the car. The square footage is 3251, 5 beds + office. 2.75 baths, .18 acres. It is in Herriman city, Rosecrest Subdivision!

That is such a bummer that nobody showed up to your open house. I would have been so mad if I had worked that hard too! Your house is gorgeous though so hopefully it will sell fast. Are you going to rent it if you don't sell it before you move to your undisclosed location? :)

Hey, I got your comment and checked your blog! Of course I remember you! How are you? From the looks of you you guys seem really happy and your kids are absolutely beautiful!

Where is this beautiful house you are trying to desperately to get rid of? We live in Layton, and are quite happy with our little house here so I'm sorry I won't be able to help you out, but I can put in a good word for anyone in the market.

It was nice to hear from you and I'll continue to check your blog!

Your house looks great! That is SOOO frustrating to go to ALL that work and not have one person show up. That breaks my heart! Selling a house is so stressful (I've heard) so I already dread the day that we'll sell our house. :) Good luck! I'll email your BLOG to a few people that live in Herriman - maybe they'll like your's better!

P.S. I'm sure you already have it listed on Craigslist, but if not, definitely put it on there. My sister Molly bought her house off of Craigslist - no realtors so no fees! :)

Good luck with the house selling! I was getting stressed when we weren't sure where we were going... the market in Syracuse isn't too hot right now because everyone is selling. Besides...I don't think anyone would by our house if our car was attached to it. :) I think you should be just fine! And...if I knew there was going to be such yummy treats...I would have came just to socialize and...EAT! :) Beautiful house, though! I loved looking at all the pics..and getting ideas for myself. :)

This is too funny and too sad. Ansen has actually mentioned your house to 2 people at work. . . I'll keep you posted if anything develops. Let's go out sometime as couples (no kids) as you mentioned on the my blog. We're game and we now have official date nights (with a babysitter) so we can keep up with friends.

Looks like it is straight off of HGTV. Someone just has to fall in love with it, and the Benz.....
You are on our prayer list too.
