Gabe getting the hosedown (CA trip con't)

Pop Pop was generous enough to offer to babysit so the girls could have an outing. We should have realized he would do it Kevin Style! We arrived home from a lovely day of shopping, to find Hayden's diaper duct taped on, and Gabe drying off from his hosedown.

My Dad's version of the story goes that he went to change Gabe's poopy diaper and the kid was wiggling all over the place. Then he reached into the wipes to find someone had used the last one without refilling. Shame Shame. So what is a Grampa to do but take the kid outside and hose him down! According to Pop Pop, Gabe "loved it" We thought if he loved it so much, we should recreate it to capture pics for posterity's sake.

Gabe is just following in his mothers footsteps. Dad used to do that to all the girls. Only in the summer though...when I would go to a meeting or something I would come home to the diaper in the toilet soaking YUK and the story of dad hosing the kids off after poopy diapers...he claimed they loved it although I did hear different reports from older children!

Classic! Do you think it works for adult men (aka. husbands?)?? Rob used to be excellent when he had 6:00 am meetings...not so much now.

Love the pics!! Your family is charming! I bet it is a riot spending time with you and your kids. :)

okay so I just realized that I wrote a comment on this section instead of the one with Laine sleeping in her dress...my comment was meant for that one...

Hey, for the Wells family...not to worry, my wife hoses me down in the backyard all the time. It's not such a big deal once the neighbors get used to it.

Deb and Jesse Riley, you guys are hilarious! Ben and I laughed our butts off at your dialog, especially since your first comment works well for this post too Deb! So funny
